New Study Shows Cannabis Helps Prevent Diabetes

A new study published in the American Journal of Medicine has shown that regular use of cannabis may help reduce your blood sugar levels. From the years 2005-2010 the National Health & Nutrition Survey investigated the effects of cannabis on glucose, insulin & insulin resistance of adults. Of the 4657 people in the survey only 579 regularly used cannabis & 1975 had previously used cannabis. The researchers noted that the regular cannabis users has a lower body mass index & lower blood sugar levels.
